Meet with Ekrem Cılız, Rising Star Alumni of the Year at the 2023 Outstanding Alumni Awards.

After his graduation, he took part in the establishment of the Electric Vehicle Team, EVA Team, and served as the assistant captain and vehicle pilot. In addition, he worked in many national and international projects, supported the BAP projects of the university and supported civil and defense industry projects by working at the AUTONOM Research Center. Ekrem Cılız received the 2nd place in the entrepreneurship competition, applied for patents and one of them was registered as a utility model. He also took part as a researcher in many scientific research projects, provided support in European Union projects and mentored student projects. He has been working as “Battery Development Engineer” at AVL since January 2023.
