GLOBAL ALUMNI AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME

Altınbaş University Global Alumni Ambassador Programme comprises volunteer international alumni of Altınbaş University, appointed by the university administration as the country ambassador to represent their alma mater at their home countries.

Altınbaş University Global Alumni Ambassador Programme is designed to contribute to the promotion of both Altınbaş University and Turkey. The Programme will help our alumni develop a stronger sense of belonging with their alma mater, ultimately ensuring that they become eager volunteers to promote Altınbaş University and international education in Turkey. Accordingly, it is our aim to have each selected ambassador play a unique role in the programme, depending on their field of specialization.

Roles that Global Alumni Ambassadors will be asked to perform may include:

  • Find Altınbaş University alumni in your home country/region and contact them

  • Provide the university with the personal and contact details of Altınbaş University alumni in your country/region to help us keep our alumni database up to date

  • Strengthen the alumni networks in your country/region by encouraging them to join Altınbaş Alumni Network

  • As an ambassador of Altınbaş University, provide services to Altınbaş University members (University President, Vice President, Deans, Professors, Staff, Alumni and Students) who may visit your country/region with academic learning, research, cooperation, or living purposes

  • Seek academia-industry cooperation opportunities between Altınbaş University and other organizations in your country/region, such as joint degree programmes, study programmes

  • Seek employment opportunities for Altınbaş alumni

  • As a local, support Altınbaş students pursuing a degree in your county/region

  • Contribute to international student recruitment, get the privilege to offer scholarships to successful candidates

  • Contact Turkish Embassy in your country and Maarif Education Foundation as “Altınbaş Ambassador” to request official promotion of the university

  • Attend international education fairs with the university staff to represent Altınbaş University

  • Find internship and study abroad opportunities and in your country/region

  • Make efforts to have Altınbaş University covered by local/national press to help the university strengthen its presence in your country/region
